  3. Can you create a block?

As in scratch and snap and such you can create a block of code and name it: define a function/macro. Can you not do this in tickle?

  6. New variable called 'Recordings'

Would be great to be able to utilize the voice recorder function of the phone to add custom sounds to projects (new variable called 'recordings').

  8. Making Tickle like Scratch for iPad

The building blocks in Tickle are just like Scratch, except it is optimized for the iPad. However, there is no real way to create programs from blank templates. It seems that if you don't have a device to control, Tickle can't be used to much of anything. Am I missing something?

  9. ifttt

Tickle is a great way to play with IoT devices, but limited on the Internet part. It would expand options if we could integrate with https://ifttt.com/ or maybe https://www.scriptr.io to use the weather as and input; or social media as inputs / output.

Sphero blink when I get a chat request etc...

  11. Shapes, text, sounds and more

I really like Tickle, but I am disappointed by the fact that we can only add a few characters. If we could add basic shapes and change their size and color, it would be amazing. Also, adding text boxes would be a great new feature. Finally, the ability of importing and recording sounds would be awesome.
If you can bring those features to Tickle, I will give your app 5 stars !

  13. Sprite/scene editor

I've seen a few related ideas, but most don't include the scratch notion of costumes, which many devices might support via LEDs (for encapsulating states, like a "happy costume" where LEDs can blink in a friendly way for example), but extend that to sprites so users can create new characters and animations. Or at least be able to import them from a standard scratch account. The same for backdrops. Little girls especially seem to gravitate to this sort of feature, which keeps them hooked on learning the other stuff. Additionally, I've noticed that animations are already supported. This might be…

  14. WiiMote

Add WiiMote as a device, it's cheap, bluetooth, Has a lot of inputs and a few outputs.
And a lot of folks have one kicking around.

  15. Ability to add more characters

The Orca is beautiful! The ability to choose more characters and scenes is on your radar, I'm sure.

  16. Make Orca the default

Not very exciting idea, but perhaps you could make the "Orca" the top option so that people without fancy hardware devices can quickly start coding!
