  1. Support for the Ringo robot from Plum Geek, http://www.plumgeek.com/ringo.html

The Ringo robot from Plum Geek is an ideal starter robot and using Tickle to program it would seem to be a match made in heaven.

  7. another interesting device JBL pulse

    http://www.jbl.com/bluetooth-speakers/JBL+PULSE+2.html

It's got an 8x8 grid of RGB led's, controllable via Bluetooth.
I can't find any documentation yet, but was told by JBL reps yesterday it is hack-able and they will be having a hackathon.

Will update with details if I get them.

  8. Join more than two strings without nesting join blocks

Joining multiple strings without having to nest the join blocks, in the style of Tynker's join block.

For instance, to say something like "(3, 4)" where you have 3 and 4 stored in variables involves nesting lots of joins. I'd like to be able to do something like Join "(" var1 "," var2 ")"

  11. bluetooth communications block

the Lego Mindstorms programming language has a "bluetooth" communications block it can use to communicate with a variety of devices. If Tickle contained such a block, users could easily use it with any bluetooth device, including sending messages back and forth to a lego mindstorms brick. Users the write their own lego programs, tickle could just say "bluetoothsend' mindstorms1, Sit" for example, the the lego brick would activate whatever its "Sit" routine might be.

Such a bluetooth block(s) in tickle, (send, receive), is all thats really needed to add the wonderful world of Lego to tickle.

  14. Parrot AR Drone 2.0 Support

I know there are a lot of other people waiting for API support for their things, but maybe the programming might not be as different from the minidrone. Both can fly in 3D space and both can do tricks and flips, so maybe they're not so different?

  15. use extreme caution flying rolling spider

at the time of this post, there are a lot of bugs in the way tickle handles the flight settings on the rolling spider. It doesn't seem to know the difference between wheel mode and not wheel mode. Tickle has no way of knowing if theres wheels mounted or not, but seems to switch between modes? , the speed setting block changes the max pitch and climb rate setting, rather than setting the speed of movement. Positional stability when flying outdoors is non-existent. Its like the stabilizer camera is not even on, IDK. I program it to fly up, forward,…

  17. Document a C++ Bluetooth API for Arduino Controllers

Many students in high schools and middle schools are getting into Arduino controllers. Perhaps you could document a C++ Bluetooth API to interface with Tickle enabling electronics and robotics classes to collaborate with other classes using Tickle.

  19. Add and manage students in a class.

Be able to check the student progress as a teacher and give them feedback. Also add collaborative work: many students work together and simultaneously in one project.
